St. Mark Gallery
Children arrived from a nature walk just before the programming session, making for a seamless and perfect introduction to learn about the forest.
As a result, it was easy for them to recall some of the creatures they had observed, and it was truly amazing to witness their creative recreations of those creatures.
The staff couldn’t stop talking about what a fantastic idea it was, and they marveled at how engaged and enthusiastic the children became.
One student and I collaborated to craft a cardboard and pipe cleaner cape, while another student’s homemade helmet sparked the imaginations of their peers!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Scroll through this gallery to witness the diverse artworks children created.
Can you hear the stories behind each of them?
