Growth
During my time at CH Norton, I was able to witness growth among the students over the course of programming. From week 1 to week 5, I got to see how many of the kids took charge in their own artmaking, wanting to learn how to do various techniques for the activities and would start
to grow their own understanding and build their own skillsets week by week. They also would work together very well, and loved making work together as seen in week 1. Body tracing was amazing to see through them, as they would want to try various poses and ways of adding to
their pieces. Their drawings overlapped one another and they were excited to share the work with each other.
I believe week 1, Body really mattered because it tied to their relationships with each other as well. They were challenged to work with each other and grow and understand working together to create artwork. They were very collaborative towards the end of programming as well that even extended to me, as they would come and ask me to help out with handing materials and preparing the activity.
