One child had the idea to line up popsicle sticks on the sticky paper side-by-side so then they could draw on the popsicle sticks. This idea worked great and inspired other children to use popsicles sticks as a surface that they could draw on. This was really nice to see as experimentation was the whole point of this activity and trial and error was a big factor here.
