Puzzle Théâtre (Montreal, QC)
About the perfomance:
A leaf that grows on a dead branch, pieces of wood that come together to form strange creatures, some hostile, some comical… A curious world that surprises, amazes, and inspires. A world that also makes you think and wonder. Join us at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts Black Box Theatre for an intimate performance and workshop experience to explore the playful art of found object.
For educators, we will host a discussion with Puzzle Théâtre from Quebec about their innovative methodology of engaging children and caregivers. Tour through puppets used in their performance made from wood, plastic bags, yarn, and blankets. Participants are invited to bring their own found and mundane objects to discuss how we can animate the mundane and use these upcycled materials to inspire in and out of the classroom
