Two little birds asleep in their nests high in a magical tree awake and discover each other and a wondrous world around them. Together they hop, flit, swoop and fly to the sounds of music and nature. An aerial arts and circus creation for young children performed in an intimate forest-like setting. Tweet, Tweet is a feast for the eyes and ears. (Aerial arts/dance/circus: Femmes du Feu, Toronto)

Tricoter May 16, (All ages) Come weave a yarn with us! Tricoter is an interactive dance show for all ages that re-creates the spirit of a knitting circle. The central dancer weaves the yarn around the circle, until one and all are tangled in a large knot of bright colours. Through play and dance, our own family histories emerge. Bonne Nuit May 19, (3-6 year olds) Time to go to bed! But …the bed is uncomfortable, the pillow has a mind of its own, our pyjamas have decided to go for a run and the comforter chooses tonight of all nights to learn how to fly! Bonne Nuit/Good Night! encourages creativity by showing children that it is possible to communicate feelings and ideas with just a few simple objects – that can become characters with hilarious personalities. Hare + Tortoise May 14, (JK-Gr.1) As they get ready for their big race, music and friendship carry these two through the changing seasons. his charming adaptation by UK playwright Brendan Murray won Best Play for Children and Youth at the Writers Guild of Great Britain Awards in 2012. Carousel Players’ production is a Canadian premiere, and includes original music composed by Niagara’s own Joe Lapinski. (SCHOOL SHOW – Theatre + Music: Carousel Players, St. Catherines)

Flying Hearts May 17, (2-5 year olds) Join four friends as they set off on an imagination adventure through the sights, sounds, and textures of earth, water, air, and light! This multi-sensory and interactive dance/theatre creation performed to live music promises a rich and stimulating arts experience for young audiences.Flying Hearts combines dance, theatre and music in a sensory-rich and stimulating performance conceived as an inclusive and fully Relaxed Performance experience for all children but especially stimulating for children with Developmental Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
