Practicing artists, artist educators and administrators mentor emerging artists.

ArtWorks offers an opportunity for young people interested in building the new creative economy to gain aesthetic, artistic, and practical skills to further apply their creative energy in the workplace.

Practicing artists, artist educators and administrators train and mentor emerging artists and recent graduates to put their knowledge into practice.

Professional cultural workers lead mentorship ladders that train hired post secondary students and recent graduates, integrate internship and cooperative education students from multidisciplinary sectors into programming and operations and engage secondary students in programs to support the child and youth participants.

Arts For All has mentored over 500 emerging artists interested in the cultural workforce.

Arts For All acknowledges the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. The City of Hamilton has developed an Urban Indigenous Strategy that will strengthen the City’s relationship with the Indigenous community and help promote a better understanding among all residents about Indigenous histories, cultures, experiences and contributions.
